Greener Vision is dedicated to encouraging the switch to a greener future

Greener Vision is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to encouraging the switch to a greener future.  The Foundation for Integrated Transport provides grant funding to support Greener Vision’s work.

Greener Vision’s current main focus is the Pathways to Net Zero thought leadership programme which aims to develop a credible and deliverable framework for achieving net zero transport.  The central proposition of Pathways to Net Zero is that we need a whole systems transition to net zero which will require a paradigm shift in terms of how we think about decarbonising transport.

Our thinking needs to change if we are to rise to the scale of the climate crisis

Greener Vision applies insights from The Tabula Project to the challenge of tackling climate change.  The Tabula Project is a 30-year creative endeavour that started with the assumption that we won’t solve our most intractable problems with the same thinking that created them.  The Project aims to provide a new perspective on the mind so we might improve how we think and eventually evolve as a society.

Claire Haigh MA Oxon, FRSA, FCILT is Founder & CEO of Greener Vision. She chairs the Delivery & Impacts Independent Review Panel for the Government’s Joint Air Quality Unit (DfT/Defra), and is Executive Director of the Transport Knowledge Hub. She was formerly Chief Executive of sustainable transport group Greener Journeys (2009-2020).  Previous roles include Managing Director of Zemo Partnership, Vice-Chair of Zemo Partnership, CEO of Greener Transport Solutions and Board Member of Transport for Greater Manchester.  Claire is an artist motivated by a desire for positive change.  If we want to change behaviours we need to change the premises which led to them. The Tabula Project aims to provide a new perspective on the mind.
