The Centre for Energy Ethics – University of St Andrews and Greener Vision are partnering to present an exhibition of The Tabula Project and a series of discussions to explore innovative approaches to addressing anthropogenic climate change.
The programme focuses on one of the most urgent profound challenges facing humanity today. As energy systems change, so will energy politics, economics and social life. What kind of world do we envision for ourselves and for others? How do we balance our energy demands with our concerns for anthropogenic climate change?
The transition away from a fossil fuel-based economy will affect every aspect of our lives. Experts and leading figures from the worlds of politics, business and academia will explore key questions at a series of roundtable discussions. Socratic dialogues at St Andrews Botanic Garden will explore how we might embrace more holistic thinking and develop an approach to the climate crisis that creates unity rather than division.
The Tabula Project paintings can be viewed at on online gallery hosted by the Centre for Energy Ethics until June 2026 (see tour preview and interactive experience below).
